Who we Are

The Scottish Wildlife Trust (SWT), founded in 1964, is an independent charity and part of a wider network of forty-six Wildlife Trusts throughout the UK, all working together for a better future for wildlife. We welcome visitors and volunteers to over 120 reserves throughout Scotland.

Interpretation

Interpretation is a vital component of our commitment to education and lifelong learning. Interpretation helps us to:

• Look after special sites and their wildlife
• Enhance the experience of visitors to our sites
• Achieve our education and lifelong learning objective, which is to instil a passion and inspire action for Scotland's wildlife and environment.

Who co-ordinates interpretation in the Scottish Wildlife Trust? Interpretation is part of the remit of our Education and Lifelong Learning team.
